oProvides expertise for HR programs requiring expert knowledge of federal HR terminology, operations, procedures, and requirementsoMay perform tasks in any area/s of HR, including policyoMust be capable of completing high-quality work expeditiously under minimal supervisionoMay act as Team Lead over lower-level positionsoThis position performs work in support of human resource professionals that requires a good working knowledge of personnel procedures, guides, and precedentsoJob tasks may include interviewing applicants, obtaining references, and recommending placement in a well-defined occupationoAt this level, assistants typically have a range of personal contacts within and outside the organization, in addition to handling employee-sensitive materialoTherefore, the Assistant must be tactful, discrete, and articulateoThis Assistant may be involved in identifying potential issues and grievance procedures, in addition to documenting necessary information to avoid company threatoThe Personnel Assistant III may make recommendations to human resource professionals on job classification, wage rates, and employee salariesoThe use of computers may be relied on heavily for organizational and reporting purposesoAdvanced experience with office software packages may be neededoThis Assistant may perform some clerical work in addition to the above dutiesoSupervisor will review completed work against stated objectives.Required Skills/Abilities:
oDemonstrated ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentoCross-cultural sensitivity, knowledge of, and ability to work with people of diverse backgroundsoConsiderable knowledge of human resource law, principles, and practicesoExcellent interpersonal skills, strong communication skills, and team-oriented outlookoStrong working knowledge of Human Resource Information Systems and Microsoft products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OutlookEducation Minimum:
oHigh School Diploma / GEDCollege degree is preferred.oExperience requirement:
Minimum 2 years in Federal Human Resources. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
