Route Sales Builder- St. Clairsville

LaJoy Group, Inc. has a current opening for a Route Sales Representative out of the St. Clairsville, OH, to service Aunt Millie's baked goods in the surrounding areas.

A Route Sales Representative has direct interaction with retail customers such as store managers, receiving personnel and other associates. Successful Route Sales Representatives develop strong relationships with these customers and are proactively involved in problem solving and increasing sales. This will be a full time opportunity.

Responsibilities include:
- Evaluate and maximize market opportunities.
- Develop and maintain sales relationships.
- Distribute and unload product.
- Safely operate a Company vehicle.
- Pre-plan orders for each customer.

Candidates should:
- Have a strong work ethic.
- Have desire to provide excellent customer service.
- Have excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Have a clean driving record.
- Be able to drive a standard transmission step van and/or box truck.
- Be able to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Be at least 21 years of age (DOT requirement).
- 3-5 years experience in food marketing, merchandising, or distribution is preferred.
