Civil / Mining / Environmental Project Engineer

We offer competitive compensation and benefits and are searching for innovative people to join our teams.   The Project Engineer will possess and apply comprehensive knowledge of civil/mining/environmental engineering for the completion of challenging assignments. Manage and perform civil, mining, oil and gas, and environmental projects in accordance with appropriate state and federal regulations. Tasks will involve design of mine reclamation plans (including innovative technologies), site development (including erosion and sediment control and post-construction storm-water control plans), engineering studies and designs related to civil, mining, oil and gas, and environmental projects throughout PA, OH, and WV. Knowledge of geology, rock mechanics or geo-technical engineering is a plus. The candidate may also be requested to support other project /programs such as construction management and alternative energy projects. Essential duties and responsibilities will include: o Perform and manage projects in the public and private sector. Participate in functions involving client meetings, proposal preparation, manage staff and subcontractors, and budget tracking for environmental, oil and gas, and mining projects. o Direct/assist with preparation of plans, permits, designs and reports such as: mine reclamation plans, erosion and sediment control design, post-construction stormwater management, mining and oil and gas permitting. o Preparation and review of engineering design reports. o Some overnight travel to locations within the continental United States may be required.   Qualifications   Qualifications: Education and Experience: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a minimum of 7 years' experience and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelors (B.S.) or Master's Degree (M.S.) in Civil, Mining or Environmental Engineering or a related area. Professional Engineer license is required. Experience with planning, design, and soil erosion and sediment controls using TR-55 methodology including use of related computer programs such as HEC-RAS, and other similar programs is required. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
